I started my design career not as a web designer but a web developer. I spent 2 years of my life trying to live up to the dream of a web developer. Not until 2020 where my greatest dream was revealed to me, the dream of becoming a web designer.
As my transition from a web developer to a web designer became visible and undeniable, I saw myself leaning rapidly towards the most talked about technology used by web designers. WordPress has gotten rid of two major challenges, scalability and speed. With these two challenges out of the way, web designers are now unstoppable.
Getting into a whole new career path was a challenge for me, so I had to strap up and take only the best tools needed for the journey, Elementor is no doubt an effective tool and any professional web designer out there, can attest to this. Maybe I am biased, but the projects I have worked on is proof enough to strengthen my conviction.
I had an opportunity to visit a factory line when I was about to complete my Bachelor of Technology program. In it, I witnessed a set of processes that transformed raw materials into finished products. It was then I realized I had to follow similar patterns if I wanted to help businesses achieve better results through their website.
We discuss the project at full length and gather as much info as I can, to help achieve the results you want.
I use tools like Adobe XD and Figma to implement ideas discussed in the “Discussion Phase.” This physical representation helps you decide if this is what you really want.
When you confirm your preferred prototype, I start designing your website. But in case you need some adjustments, there’s room for one more review, then you decide which to go with.
This is the final stage of every project. All the assets of the project is officially transferred to you, the project owner. I can help with managing the website, but that would be discussed since different websites require different management requirements to keep it running.
The Old Barn Day nursery wanted a new look for their website as their fresh in-take of children was just around the corner. This website was basically running on outdated design patterns and their web visitors were finding it difficult to navigate through the website. I got their brand color and updated the website to match up with color they are already recognized for.
YOYO is a website that sells American used laptops to the local Cameroon population. This person wanted minimalistic website design with focus on selling it’s products to customers as soon as they get on their website. One of the most significant challenge I faced here was figuring out what Cameroonians search for when they want to get s laptop. The average Cameroonian doesn’t like buying things online
SLICC Culture needed a new website to showcase some of their solutions to businesses. Their main colors were purple and aqua. This brand wants to stand for something that is completely digital and unique.
